Flowervale MetalLic (Staal)

The love story began in 2002 when I decided to get serious about dressage and purchased Staal from Flowervale stud when he was 18 months old. Over the course of the next 18 years we have laughed, cried, come back from major injuries, competed well and not so well, and at the ripe old age of 20 we are about to ride our first Grand Prix test. We have all had the horse of a lifetime and Staal is that to me.

Arctic Hit (Piper)

Piper is a delightful mare who came to us four years ago. She was a dressage horse for a short time and had two foals with her previous owner, one of whom grew up at Blonde Rock and was an exceptionally quiet and talented young horse. When Piper came on the market, we knew she threw foals with sensational temperaments which is now a key feature of our breeding program. 

Scarlett BRF

When you name a horse after a person in a movie you can rest assure that is who you will get. Scarlett O’Hara was smart, bold, and interesting…that is exactly the Scarlett I have bred, trained and delightful. She has stunning looks, conformation and is the queen of the farm and second in line to the throne.

Delilah BRF

This two-year-old is the daughter of Cleo and like her mum, is stunning. Delilah is brave, self-assured and learns incredibly quickly. She has beautiful elevated paces, with exceptional paces, especially her canter. Just wow! She was a foundation mare for Blonde Rock.

Flowervale Ferrolyn (Cleo)

This beautiful mare was also bred by Flowervale Stud and came to us several years ago. She was a riding horse and competed to Advanced with her previous owner. Cleo has had several foals with Blonde Rock Farm now, she is such an outstanding mare. She throws stunning foals, each and every one of them, and we have kept her first filly so her bloodlines will be the basis of our breeding program.
